HOW IT WORKS
Four jobs, one system.
Here’s what the main equipment does in plain language. Your installer will work through the detailed layout.
Solar panels
Collect sunlight to refill the batteries during the day.
Batteries
Store power for evenings, cloudy stretches and larger loads.
Inverter/charger
Runs household AC loads from the battery and charges from shore or generator power.
Monitoring
Shows battery and charging information so you can manage usage.
The four-battery bank is about 16.4 kWh nominal (16.384 kWh exactly). The inverter has limits: avoid stacking electric cooking or the microwave with heavy cooling. The roof array is not intended to replace a six-hour A/C day’s full energy use every day.
